Committee members agreed to reorganize and clarify contract provisions, explicitly add federal prevailing wage requirements where applicable and to make clear that contracts "shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Maumee ordinances, the Maumee charter and Ohio law," staff said. The committee also approved language that would require contracts valued above a specified reporting threshold to be provided to council after they are "fully executed." Staff recommended a 30-day window for reporting fully executed agreements.
