Hermosa Beach — The council reviewed and revised its proposed 2026 meeting calendar on Nov. 17, shifting several dates to avoid conflicts and to create lighter agendas on mayoral‑rotation nights.
Council moved the Feb. 10 meeting to Feb. 3 and agreed to hold the mayoral rotation/swearing on Feb. 24 (instead of Feb. 12), with the council aiming for a light agenda that evening so the rotation can be held with a reception. The council also canceled the March 28 retreat that had been listed as a placeholder. Staff said they would circulate a clean version of the calendar and can cancel or add meetings as workload requires.
Councilmembers asked staff to be flexible and add meetings if the agenda volume justified them; staff confirmed the schedule changes would not impede the permit sales or other program timelines.
