Both ordinances passed on roll call.
Council recorded no separate debate on many consent items beyond staff clarifications and a brief explanation that the Ferguson meters were recommended as sole source because they are most compatible with existing infrastructure and switching vendors would take additional time.
The council authorized these contracts and purchases at the Nov. 17 meeting; staff said bond funding would be sought to finance the meter program and that the sewer-related items would be further detailed as committee work continues.
