Council noted Michael T. Rohrer was present and that members had met with him in executive session earlier. A motion to add the ordinance to the agenda for first reading passed by roll call. Clerk Will Kirk read the ordinance title; no final adoption or vote on confirmation was recorded that evening.
Beyond the personnel item, council members offered Veterans Day remarks and invited residents to visit Veterans Park. Miss Lee spoke about a personal loss, saying, "We need him to keep my family in prayer as we continue to deal with her loss," and identified her daughter as United States Army Warrant Officer Rashonda Nicole. The meeting ended after a motion and unanimous voice vote to adjourn.
