Owners of 2036 Sherwin Ave receive URA approval for local match to state revitalization grant

Councilors voiced support during the discussion and the motion to approve the match was adopted as part of the session’s motions. Staff noted the applicant has committed additional private funds for integrated repairs and that code compliance and accessibility issues were drivers of the request.
Next steps: the applicant and staff will proceed with the match documentation and project scheduling as required by the grant.
