The Lake Oswego City Council held public hearings Oct. 7 and enacted two ordinances to annex properties previously in Clackamas County jurisdiction. Associate planner Mister Espy presented staff findings that both sites — 210 Birds Hill Road (Ordinance 2969) and 13092 Amber Place (Ordinance 2970) — meet the city’s comprehensive-plan designation for R-10 zoning, are within the urban services boundary, and can be served by available water and sanitary sewer with existing intergovernmental arrangements.
Both hearings drew no public testimony. Councilors moved to enact each ordinance; motions were seconded and approved on voice votes recorded as 7-0 for both items. Staff noted minor infrastructure steps needed for Amber Place (extension of an 8-inch sanitary line to serve uphill connections) and indicated water service providers remain the existing districts referenced in the staff report.
No appeals or ex parte contacts were declared at the hearings; the record was described as available at the back of the room and on file with staff.
