Staff described the Perry’s Alley and North Vesper Street closure (Wall Street to Lehigh) for a trunk‑or‑treat event on Oct. 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.; staff said they will work with police and public works to notify residents and manage traffic. Council moved, seconded and approved the closure; roll‑call votes were recorded with one abstention.
Emily Duff asked to use Zindell Park on Nov. 1 for a small wedding; staff said they will help with required paperwork and logistics and council approved the request.
The Old Corner asked to use Burke Street for after‑dinner service and live music on several dates in late spring and summer. Organizers asked for early approval for planning; staff and council discussed scheduling to avoid conflicts with Riverfest and agreed to coordinate with police and public works. Council approved the recurring closures and asked staff to manage notifications and any resident concerns.
For all approved closures, staff will coordinate signage, resident notification and police presence as needed. Council did not discuss permit fees in detail at the meeting.
