City staff told the commission that construction at the new City Hall campus is progressing: roadway and curb work and swale installation are complete and crews recently poured basement footings. Staff encouraged commissioners to drive by the site to see progress and said architects and staff are working on landscape and building details including bathrooms, mechanical rooms, pathways and light poles.

The presenter said the current schedule aims for a 2027 move-in, describing the project as a two-year build and urging commissioners to coordinate with the architect about park and site elements while design and cost estimates are still being prepared.

There was no formal action on the project at the meeting; staff said they will provide updates as site work and design decisions proceed.
