The Pryor Creek City Council voted on Nov. 18 to provide a one-time bonus of 1.5% of annual base pay to all city employees hired before Nov. 1, 2025, with payments scheduled for Dec. 12, 2025. The resolution excludes elected officials and temporary, volunteer and reserve employees and caps total distributions at $83,000 to be paid from the general unallocated reserve and excess account.
Supporters said the bonus recognizes the workforce's efforts and helps staff navigate ongoing economic pressures. Council discussion clarified that both part-time and full-time employees are eligible under the motion; temporary and volunteer classifications were explicitly excluded.
The motion passed by roll call.
Implementation: payroll will process the bonus on the stated date and staff will ensure excluded employee categories are omitted from the distribution.
