Members unanimously voted to waive a formal reading on the ordinance’s introduction; the ordinance was introduced as required but, per local code, will not be passed on the date of introduction.
Council members indicated they had no immediate objections to the concept and advised staff to continue with the ordinance process and any necessary technical clarifications with the company before further readings and potential adoption.
