Shawnee council unanimously approves CDBG plan, funds for community services and several city contracts

The council voted 7-0 to adopt the annual action plan for the CDBG program. At a second public hearing, city staff also proposed using the remainder of the city’s coronavirus-era CDBG allocation to build a covered storage area behind the main building of Shawnee Community Services.
