The North Platte Planning Commission recommended Nov. 25 that City Council approve the Chase Subdivision (SU25-023), a lot split that divides an existing lot at 802 East Walker Road into two parcels with access to city utilities.

Planning staff (Judy) said both resulting lots will have city utilities and that a petition for paving (required where lots abut gravel roads) had been filed and opposed by neighboring property owners; staff nonetheless had no objection to the subdivision. Commissioner Bain moved to recommend approval, Jet seconded, and the commission’s motion carried.

Next steps: The recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for final consideration.
