Resident group urges transparency on proposed 50'60-unit townhouse project at 5th & Napa

Jesse Ortiz told the City Council he spoke on behalf of "over a 100 neighbors" who would be "adversely affected by the proposed 50 to 60 unit townhouse project at the corner of 5th Street East and Napa Road by the City Ventures Company." Ortiz asked the city and the planning commission to be "transparent and forthcoming in a timely manner regarding any and all motions or actions in connection with the annexing, rezoning, and the future development of the said property site." He said the neighborhood would remain vigilant and would repeat the remarks at an upcoming planning commission meeting.
The council took the comment for the record; no staff presentation or council action on the development occurred during this meeting.
