Taft — The Taft City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved its consent calendar, adopting minutes from Oct. 21, 2025, authorizing payment of approximately $836,000 in bills and accepting the Transportation Development Act (TDA) annual audit for fiscal year 2019–20.
The motions were presented as routine business and the council took the actions by a single roll-call vote. The staff recommendation on the audit included a finding that receiving and filing the audit is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act, citing the CEQA guidelines sections 15060(c)(3) and 15378.
“Motion and a second,” a council member said before the clerk conducted roll call. The clerk recorded votes of yes from Council member Kreier, Mayor Pro Tem Bryant, Council member Waldrop, Council member Chavira and Mayor Noor, carrying the motion 5–0.
