Council approves consent agenda; votes to enter executive session under RSMo 610.021

At the October 2025 regular meeting, the Washington City Council approved its consent agenda, which included Change Order No. 1 and a final payment request for the Highway 100 Turn Lanes project, a Change Order No. 1 and final payment request for the Oldenburg Industrial Park project, and a final payment request related to City of Washington EDA grama administration.
An unidentified council member moved to approve the consent agenda and another seconded. The mayor called for those in favor to say “aye,” a voice vote followed and the mayor said the motion passed.
Near the end of the meeting, the city attorney read a statutory citation and the council voted to hold a closed meeting to discuss personnel, legal and real estate matters pursuant to Section 610.021, RSMo. During roll call several council members responded in the affirmative and the meeting moved into executive session.
The council did not take public votes on the items discussed in executive session during this open meeting.
