Local nonprofit donates $20,000 to Tomball holiday programs

Brett Bridal, speaking for the nonprofit, said the organization has distributed nearly $4 million locally since it began 11 years ago and has given roughly $177,500 to the city’s Holiday Heroes partner organizations since 2015. The checks — $10,000 each to the Tomball Fire Department and Explorer Post 5451 (Tomball Police)— will support programs that provide gifts and experiences to children and families during the holidays. Police Chief Jeff Burt and others thanked Resale With a Purpose for its ongoing local support; Burt said the program has grown from 25 to nearly 189 children in recent years and credited the group with enabling that expansion.
