Earlier in the meeting the board presented proclamations recognizing World Polio Day, endorsing the Haunting Reality awareness event and honoring Chief Landry Murchison for decades of service to the county’s fire and emergency operations. Chief Murchison addressed the board briefly, praised the county’s pathway youth program and thanked colleagues and community partners.
