West Fargo approves improvement districts for 9th Street/7th Avenue reconstruction and sidewalk program

He reported no written protests from property owners and the commission approved a resolution declaring protests insufficient and proceeding with the district.
City Engineer Jerry Wallace presented Improvement District 6059, a recurring sidewalk program to fill gaps in the pedestrian network. Wallace reported a total project cost of $308,059.01, including roughly $267,000 in construction costs and about 15% in soft costs. The commission approved the final assessment list and resolution.
Both actions advance project financing and allow staff to proceed with bidding and construction scheduling.
