The staff member said acceptance of the grant will be placed on the board's November agenda for formal acceptance.
In the public comment period, Christina Culver — who said she works in health care — praised the purchase as valuable to student learning and thanked the district for scheduling committee meetings that allow parent engagement.
No action to accept the grant occurred at the Oct. 1 meeting; staff will place the formal acceptance item on the November agenda.
