Cole County commissioners on Wednesday approved a series of routine contracts, purchases and intergovernmental agreements and moved several administrative items forward.
During a consent‑style set of votes, commissioners signed a change order and an amended environmental review for installation of a safe‑haven baby box at county EMS headquarters so the county can seek reimbursement under state House Bill 121. Speaker 8, representing EMS, said the project was funded initially with CDBG funds and that the amended environmental review has been reviewed and accepted by DED.
