Commissioners approved the recommendation by voice vote; the accepted provisional ballots were to be added to the appropriate races. Election staff also presented the post‑election (hand count) audit process and results — the board reviewed balance sheets, precinct pull‑pads, and machine‑to‑card reconciliations and signed the official tally and summary reports.
County staff said they selected two races for the mandatory hand count audit and that there were no significant discrepancies between machine tallies and hand counts. Commissioners then certified the canvass and returned to their regular meeting.
