The Town of Danvers Planning Board recorded three formal actions on Nov. 12, 2025:
1) Continued hearing: The board continued the site-plan review for a proposed Raising Cane’s restaurant at 200 Endicott Street to the Dec. 9, 2025 meeting to allow time for a traffic peer review and engineering responses. The continuance request was submitted by the applicant’s counsel; the motion to continue (moved by Jean Hartnett, seconded by Michael DeCoulis) passed by voice vote with no opposition.
2) ANR approval: The board approved an Approval-Not-Required plan for 19 Valley Road that divides the property into three parcels and labels two smaller parcels as nonbuildable; counsel said the nonbuildable designation will be recorded on title and could be changed in the future only through zoning relief. The ANR approval motion was moved by Jean Hartnett and seconded by Michael DeCoulis and passed by voice vote.
3) Minutes approved: The board approved minutes from the Oct. 28, 2025 meeting (motion moved by Jean Hartnett, seconded by Michael DeCoulis) with no recorded opposition.
All three actions were approved by voice vote and recorded as passed; individual recorded tallies were not provided in the meeting transcript. Staff said the continued Raising Cane’s hearing will be on the Dec. 9 agenda and that the ANR plan will be recorded at the registry of deeds.
