The Town of Danvers Wetlands Protection Commission voted to issue a certificate of compliance for 31 Massachusetts Avenue, DEP file 14-1416, closing a permit originally issued in 2024. The applicant, Charles DiLorenzo, was represented by Caitlin White of Hancock Associates, who said the work is complete and the site is stable.
"All construction is done. The site is stable. Everything was constructed as approved," said Caitlin White, the wetland scientist representing the applicant. Commission staff confirmed the only change from the original plan was an administratively approved front walkway.
A town staff member who visited the site reported it looked "fantastic," and a commissioner made a motion to issue the certificate; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The commission recorded no additional special conditions for this closure.
With the vote, the commission formally closed DEP file 14-1416 and removed the permit from active oversight. No appeals or follow-up reporting requirements were discussed at the meeting.
