County staff member Sam told the commission the bond payment "needs to be your bond payment needs to be made by today" and gave the amount as "$8,639.31, And that's budgeted for it's there." Commissioner Edwin moved to pay the invoice; Commissioner Zorn seconded. The commission approved the payment by voice vote.
The staff account presented to the commission said the invoice was received by email after the payment deadline had passed. Commissioners did not debate alternative timing or dispute the invoiced amount during the meeting. No further conditions or follow-up tasks were recorded.
The commission moved on to discuss a separate capital purchase after the vote.
