The Millbrae City Council met in a closed-session meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 14, 2025, recessed for private deliberations and planned to resume its regular public session at 7:00 p.m.
An unidentified presiding official opened the session and confirmed recording and audio were operating. The presider asked the city clerk to call the roll; Council member Nguyen, Council member Raleigh, Council member Rinaldi and Vice Mayor Holiver were recorded present, and the mayor was noted as participating remotely.
The presiding official invited public comment specifically on the closed-session agenda. The city clerk reported, “We do not,” indicating there were no members of the public wishing to speak on closed-session items, and public comment was closed for this portion of the meeting.
The council announced it would adjourn to the city manager’s office to discuss four closed-session items and said members would return promptly at 7:00 p.m. A brief technical note followed asking the mayor to relog into a different Zoom link; the mayor acknowledged and began to relog.
No votes, motions, ordinances or other formal actions were taken or recorded in the publicly available portion of the meeting transcript. The topics discussed during the closed session were not disclosed in the public transcript.
