Committee members reported progress on course maintenance and capital planning at the Dec. 2 meeting. A consultant hired by the town has begun work to help draft the next irrigation RFP following a site visit about two weeks earlier, and committee members said the consultant is reviewing costs.

Members confirmed the cart‑path (cart pass) work is complete and that laser leveling on a secondary tee was finished in‑house. Tree work has not yet been scheduled and committee members said they will follow up on contractor contacts. One member said a sign for the seventh hole has been prepared and that the language will be approved at a future meeting.

The committee discussed timelines for larger capital projects and said they will coordinate with the Town of Southborough Department of Public Works and the Community Preservation Committee to ensure funding priorities—especially irrigation—are aligned with the March town meeting schedule. No formal contract awards or new project authorizations were voted at this session.
