He summarized his recommendations in four points: that the district remove its current transgender protocol; require that any team comprising both biological boys and biological girls be explicitly advertised as "coed"; maintain separate middle- and high-school teams for biological boys and biological girls; and bar biological female athletes from competing against individuals he described as biological males for "safety and fairness reasons." He told the committee the matches in question ended in ties and urged that parents and the district be informed.
The committee did not debate or propose a change during the meeting; after the five-minute public comment the chair thanked Caradillo and moved on to the next agenda item. The committee took no formal vote or direction on policy changes at that meeting.
