The Schererville Plan Commission on Dec. 1 tabled a proposed 1-lot institutional subdivision for Anna Street after staff and the town attorney identified a stormwater provision omitted from the advertised notice. On advice of counsel, staff said the petition would be re-advertised; the commission voted 6-0 to table the matter and to rehear it on Jan. 5.

Commissioners then moved through a series of routine findings and approvals on several planning cases, all approved without dissent. The commission recorded unanimous votes for multiple items, including findings of fact for cases identified during the meeting.
