Schuylkill Valley board swears in members, elects officers and confirms committee appointments

Certificates of election were presented and the board administered the oath of office to Linda R. Lash, Joe Brown, Lauren J. Matthews and Carol E. Wient (listed in meeting materials as newly seated or re-elected directors). With nominations opened for president, Carol E. Wient was the sole nominee and was elected by acclamation. The board also authorized the business office to process bills for payment through Dec. 24, 2025, with the list to be presented for ratification at the January 2026 meeting. The board approved extracurricular coaching hires for the junior-high wrestling program (John Chop White, head coach, $6,900; Tanner White, assistant, $2,430), subject to required clearances and executed contracts.
The organization votes and the subsequent approval of appointments and personnel items were recorded as unanimous (9–0).
