The McFarland School District board approved several routine and intergovernmental items in a Dec. 1 meeting.

At the start of the meeting the chair moved to go into closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c), citing employment/promotion/compensation or performance-evaluation data for a certified staff retirement request; the motion was seconded and roll call was taken (SEG 001–038). The public portion of the meeting resumed and the board handled the consent agenda, which included the 11/17/2025 minutes, certified and co-curricular staffing recommendations, and a certified staff retirement request. Unidentified Speaker 3 moved to accept the consent agenda; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote, "Motion carries 4 0" (SEG 050–059).

Later, the board voted on an intergovernmental agreement with the Village of McFarland giving the district nominal-fee access to the community park and cross-country course for practices and programming and to use portions of the facility outside the school day. The board then approved recommended student transfers from WIVA/WIVA Destination Career Academy/Insight School of Wisconsin back to resident districts due to lack of engagement. An unidentified board member moved to approve the recommended transfers; the motion was seconded and recorded as carrying 4–0 (SEG 1697–1756).

The meeting concluded after approval of a motion to adjourn, which the board carried by voice vote and recorded adjournment at 08:03 (SEG 1757–1769).
