The district clarified last year’s program generated about $1,000 in revenue for the service, not 1,000 students, meaning only a minority of families used the optional exam. Board members asked where the mobile dental chair and light are stored; administration said they are in a nurse’s office and transported between buildings.
Next steps
The board reviewed the renewal; no vote was recorded on Nov. 11. If the board objects, administrators said they would secure another provider; otherwise the renewal will proceed to the consent/approval process at a future meeting.
