Keizer approves three supplemental budget adjustments totaling about $1.21 million

The Keizer City Council unanimously adopted three supplemental budget resolutions on Nov. 17 as part of a public hearing and consented motions.
Assistant city manager Tim Wooden said the first adjustment recognizes and appropriates a $750,000 state grant for the Keizer Rapids Turffield Phase 3 project; the city has already received those funds. The second action moves $438,000 in park-services appropriations from the prior year into the current year to complete Bob Newton Park work. The third adjustment transfers $25,000 from contingency to materials and services in the administrative services fund to cover several auto-related insurance claims.
Each resolution was moved, seconded and approved by unanimous voice vote; staff noted that the park project funding has already been received and that the insurance transfer covers immediate claims while the city’s insurance policy handles larger liabilities.
The council closed the public hearing on these supplemental budgets after no public testimony and voted to adopt the associated r2025 resolutions.
