Councilors said the UDC is a consequential, long‑term policy affecting housing and zoning across the city and urged continued outreach during the adoption period. Council also outlined a scheduled path for amendment submission (a deadline in the week after the public hearing) and work sessions to reconcile comment and edits prior to the special meeting.
