The South Euclid‑Lyndhurst City School District Board of Education approved a slate of routine items Oct. 14 by roll‑call vote. Actions included approval of the minutes of the Sept. 16 meeting, the district’s September financial reports and forecast materials, numerous personnel appointments and leaves, supplemental coaching contracts, business items, curriculum and instruction items (10.1–10.4), and exceptional‑children items (12.1–12.3).
Motions were generally moved and seconded without extended comment and passed by roll call with 'Aye' votes recorded for board members present. Where discussion occurred, it was limited (for example, brief thanks to Bartlett Tree Experts for a donation and a short comment of support for a student trip to Washington). The board adjourned following a unanimous motion to end the meeting.
The meeting record lists the following board members recorded during roll calls: Miss Falkenberg (Aye), Mr. Sanders (Aye), Miss Lee (Aye) and Mrs. Shelby (Aye); roll call also referenced Mr. Hill conducting roll calls during the meeting.
