The Coventry Town Council approved a slate of motions and resolutions during the evening session. Key votes included:
- Ordinance 2025-22 (zoning enforcement): Adopted after public hearing (5-0). - Resolution 2025-103: Change order to GZA to add Harris Playground design services ($5,200); approved (5-0). - Resolution 2025-104: Purchase of playground equipment for Giblin Memorial Park ($49,584.83); approved (5-0). GameTime Community Grant covers approximately half of the cost. - Resolution 2025-105: Purchase of two 6—to—8 cubic yard dump truck bodies for DPW to replace failed equipment; approved (5-0). - Resolution 2025-106: Approval of sewer extension for Sienna Condominiums (developer pays construction costs and curb-to-curb repaving); approved (5-0). - Resolution 2025-107: Purchase of 2024 Ford medium-roof transit van for Parks & Rec ($51,005.34); approved (5-0). - Resolution 2025-109: Final release of bond for Highwoods Subdivision Phase 5; approved (5-0). - Resolution 2025-110: Authorization for additional state-held funding for the community septic loan program after strong uptake of earlier funds; approved (5-0). - Easement approval (resolution 2025-11): Council approved granting an easement to Domenico Picozzi to access land off Hope Furnace Road adjacent to Washington Oak Elementary (5-0).
Several minutes approvals also passed with recorded abstentions on older meeting minutes where a member was not present. The council recorded votes at the clerk—s roll call for each motion.
For each passed resolution, staff identified implementing departments and requested follow-up steps (scheduling, procurement, storage and warranty confirmation, and coordination with grant administrators where applicable).
