The Brentwood Conservation Commission on an abbreviated agenda approved its October minutes as amended for typographical errors and cleared several small payments from the commission budget.
Commissioners voted by voice to accept the minutes after two members said they would abstain from that particular vote. The body then approved a $434 invoice from contractor Northam for survey and marker work; members discussed whether the charge should initially come from the commission budget and be reimbursed later from a pending grant or credited to a town legal/bond account once bond funds are allocated.
The commission also approved reimbursement of $60 for a member's attendance at the New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions (NHACC) annual meeting and voted to pay NHACC membership dues of $300 for 2026. A $48.78 reimbursement to Doug Finnan for volunteer-installed concrete posts and reflective signs was approved as well; members noted no labor charge was requested.
Members repeatedly emphasized the need to reconcile grant and bond accounting when grant funds arrive. Several motions were made and seconded and passed by voice vote; recorded tallies were not specified in the transcript other than members calling "Aye" and two members announcing abstentions on the minutes vote.
The meeting also included routine follow-ups and scheduling; commissioners set the next meeting for December 10.
