Item B would fill the fifth seat on the Allegany County Ethics Commission with the appointment of Sean Grove.
Item C would authorize the Department of Emergency Services to accept a sole-source quote from Midpoint Technologies for $66,000 to install cameras, access control and software at the Georgia's Creek Ambulance building to align security and access systems with the rest of emergency services.
Item D would declare a 2010 Chevy Camaro and a 2012 Chevy Utility Vehicle surplus and authorize disposal in accordance with sheriff's office policy.
Item E would execute an agreement with Comcast Cable Communications Management under the Connect Maryland FY'24 program to extend broadband to currently unserved or uncertain locations, for an amount not to exceed $231,000 in state funds.
Commissioners and staff briefly discussed the broadband item and welcomed the funding, noting it addresses some long-standing unserved spots in the county. No formal votes were recorded in the session transcript.
