Commissioners approve petition to close alley between Hay and Hill streets, transfer deed to petitioners

Attorney Beaman presented a petition from Jody and Vincent Montana seeking to close an alley (a paper roadway) between Hay Street and Hill Street. Beaman explained that if the commissioners approved the closure the county would execute a deed transferring that parcel to the Montanas.

With no public comment, a motion and second were made to approve item 7B. The board recorded a voice vote of "Aye" and approved the alley closure and subsequent deed transfer to the petitioners.

The decision: the closure was approved tonight by voice vote and staff will handle the deed transfer as part of the closing process.
