The Salisbury City Council on Nov. 10 approved a slate of appointments to the Salisbury Planning Commission by resolution. Julie English read the resolutions and the council voted to confirm the nominees.
Resolutions announced appointment of David Chittenton (Resolution 3425) to a term ending November 2030; Susan Raw (3426) to November 2030; Anthony Dickerson (3427) to November 2029; a partially pronounced appointee listed in the record as Latanya S. (3428) to November 2028; Michael Pierunsky (3429) to November 2030; Matt Drew (3432) to November 2028; and Lynn Bratton (3433) to November 2029. Motions and seconds were recorded for each resolution and each was announced as passing.
Council members briefly discussed the planning commission list and whether names on earlier lists matched the current slate; some members asked for clarification about how the list was assembled. The council president asked the new commissioners to stand so the meeting could acknowledge their willingness to serve.
What’s next: The council will integrate the newly approved commissioners into upcoming planning work. No contested votes or amendments to the resolutions were recorded during the Nov. 10 session.
