The Muskego Common Council on Nov. 11 approved a package of consent items and held votes on several routine land‑use and regulatory matters.
Consent items approved included certified survey maps for multiple properties, a bond reduction for Russet LLC (Apple Hills), and the recorded stormwater maintenance agreement for F Street Kirkland 1, LLC. Staff described the stormwater maintenance agreement as the city’s standard document that records ponds and maintenance responsibilities and is recorded with Waukesha County; the agreement passed unanimously.
On the zoning matter, Council held the second reading and approved Ordinance 1506 to amend the zoning map from M2 to PD for an Enterprise Drive property to permit a building addition; the measure passed unanimously.
Council also reviewed a first reading of an ordinance to update Chapter 350, Article 3 of the municipal code to align local recycling requirements with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources guidance and maintain eligibility for an annual recycling grant (roughly $76,000). Staff said the updates add multifamily requirements and education provisions; the ordinance will return for further reading/approval.
