Crawford County canvassers certify Nov. 4 election results after provisional review

County election staff presented the county canvass results for the Nov. 4, 2025, city and school general election and asked the commission to accept recommendations on provisional ballots and certify the final results.
The elections official detailed provisional ballots recommended not counted (42 cases: 25 undeliverable advance ballots, 8 voters registered out of jurisdiction, 3 late signatures, 1 missing ID and other categories) and 61 recommended counted or partially counted (including 41 voters who had moved within the district and 10 who voted at the wrong polling place). Staff also demonstrated precinct "0" tapes and summarized a post-election audit that matched the reported results.
Officials read several write-in results that will determine winners in small jurisdictions (for example, Arcadia city-council write-ins and multiple small-town mayor and council write-ins). The clerk noted that some school-district races cross county lines and that county certification covers only Crawford County results for those races. The clerk said the county will upload the results to the elections web page.
After the presentation, a motion was made to accept the final results report for the 2025 city/school general election held on Nov. 4, 2025; the motion passed by voice vote and the commission signed the official canvass documents.
