The Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District Board approved the minutes from its Feb. 24 meeting after a motion and second; the vote was recorded with Edmonds abstaining and the remaining voting members approving the minutes.
The meeting also included multiple recognitions. Board members honored Chip Garrison, who was publicly thanked and acknowledged for his years of service and announced he will retire at the end of the school year. The board presented the district’s 2024–25 teacher and educational service professional awards, naming Daniel O'Brien as teacher of the year; O’Brien thanked colleagues and described the honor as humbling.
These recognitions were presented during the awards portion of the agenda; the minutes’ approval was the formal action recorded during the meeting.
