The Pewaukee Board of Review on July 23 accepted three stipulations from commercial property owners that reduced assessed values by multi‑million dollar totals.
Assessor's staff presented three signed stipulations for commercial tax keys and addresses on Riverwood Drive, showing the following changes reported to the board:
- Tax key PWC0949998016, North 19 West 24133 Riverwood Drive: initial assessment $11,820,900; amended assessment $9,445,600 (change: $2,375,300). - Tax key PWC0949998010, North 19 West 24075 Riverwood Drive: initial assessment $5,870,000; amended assessment $3,000,008.06 (reported as $3,700? transcript contains minor formatting noise) for a reported total change of $2,004,300. - Tax key PWC09499980 (partial key reported): North 17 West 24222 Riverwood Drive: initial assessment $11,628,100; amended assessment $9,514,800 (change: $2,113,300).
The assessor said the commercial property owner(s) had submitted financial information requested in December; assessor staff reviewed those materials and recommended amended values based on the new financials. "These were commercial properties and the commercial property owner submitted financial information that we requested last December and we finally got an opportunity to look at it and work with the property owner to amend our value," the assessor told the board.
A motion to accept the stipulations was made and seconded; the board voted by voice and the chair stated the motion carried. The clerk recorded acceptance of three stipulations.
Board members did not debate the merits on the floor beyond verifying the presence of signed stipulations; the changes were presented as agreed adjustments following receipt of owner‑provided financial records. The board also confirmed there were no subpoenas and moved on to scheduling and other agenda items.
