The council approved several routine property and subdivision housekeeping items during the meeting.
Public works staff explained that during replatting for Founders Parkway (Green Valley segment) the city required additional right-of-way and negotiated replatting; the developer completed required screening and irrigation and presented a quitclaim deed to transfer Reserve A to the city. Council moved and accepted the quitclaim deed from AV Apartments LLC.
Planning staff described a vacation request for 123 West Cloud Avenue (Andover Auto Body). A previously granted variance allowed a corner of the proposed building to encroach slightly into the front-yard setback; staff explained the property is platted and therefore a formal vacation of that portion of the setback was necessary to enable the variance. Council adopted the vacation order.
Staff also presented a small drainage easement in Vista Ridge Second Addition (first phase) required to install a sewer pipe; the council approved the dedication.
All items were approved by unanimous vote as recorded in the meeting transcript.
