Staff said the draft will draw on rule sets from Marietta and Douglas Hill and include finance and operations input.
Staff also updated the board on facility access issues and building repairs that temporarily relocated some customer-service work outdoors. Separately, staff reported preliminary outreach from a data‑center developer seeking 2–3 megawatts and discussed the city’s existing excess capacity (staff said roughly 32 megawatts is available); staff said it will bring any concrete proposals and contract recommendations to the board for review before further steps.
The board thanked staff and encouraged monthly updates on capital projects and policy progress.
