Has to be inspected before demos start,” the meeting chair said during discussion of the proposal. The court voted to approve the asbestos-removal proposal; a voice vote carried the motion.
Members then read and compared multiple bids for FEMA demolition Group 1, which included addresses on East Main Street and Dyer Road in Hammond. Bids from Allen Farms LLC; Thoroughbred Construction Company; Rose Construction LLC; Hicks Brothers Construction; Roy David Hall; Coleman Engineering; Herb’s Contracting; and Campbell were recorded. The court approved an award to Rose Construction LLC, listed in the record at $29,500, after a motion and second and a voice vote.
