The Walton County Board of Education unanimously approved its board consent agenda and a CEO consent agenda during the regular meeting.
The board consent agenda included approval of minutes from the Aug. 5 and Aug. 12 meetings and several policies listed in the meeting packet: a "leaves and lisonbee" policy (term as transcribed), a new Internet safety and acceptable-use policy, a distraction-free policy, a charter school policy and a sports equity policy. The board approved the consent agenda by a recorded 7-0 vote.
Superintendent Underwood presented the CEO consent agenda, which included the finance report for August 2025 and the personnel report for September 2025. A motion to accept the superintendent's recommendation passed 7-0. During that discussion, a board member clarified, "the Christie Breedlove listed in there is not my Christie Breedlove," noting the personnel list references a person with the same name but is not the board member.
No amendments to the listed policies were recorded at the meeting and the board did not refer any item for separate discussion.
