Authority approves fiber easement with Charter Communications, contingent on legal review

The Coweta County Airport Authority voted to authorize a commercial right-of-entry agreement allowing Charter Communications Operating LLC to run fiber along West Aviation to provide an additional internet option for hangars and future businesses.
Calvin Walker explained that Synergy had requested fiber service and that Charter would run fiber down West Aviation to serve hangar owners and new hangar facilities. The board moved to approve the easement and added language making the approval contingent on counsel’s final legal review; staff and counsel will complete the final review after the meeting.
Counsel (Nathan) agreed the motion could be made contingent on legal review and asked staff to forward the agreement after the meeting for review. The board voted in favor of contingent approval.
