The Coweta County Airport Authority authorized formation of an engineering selection committee to manage the five-year procurement for the airport’s engineer of record. Calvin Walker told the board he planned to issue the request for proposals on July 1 and allow one month for proposals, after which the authority would select the top three firms and conduct interviews in August.
The current contract expires Oct. 25; the committee (Ed Davidson, Calvin Walker and Todd Hanley) will lead evaluations and recommend a contract for board approval. The motion to add committee members was moved and passed by the authority.
