Henry Bailey, the applicant for a business-license matter at 2219 Lithonia Industrial Boulevard, presented an appeal of an administrative decision at the CPIM on Oct. 9. Bailey said the appeal relates to issuance (or non-issuance) of a business license for Hearse Rental Inc. where a portion of the property lies within the floodplain.
Bailey described the request as "very simple" and invited questions from staff and the public. Staff asked whether anyone wished to speak in favor or opposition; none did during the CPIM portion. Planning staff said the Board of Zoning Adjustment would hear the administrative-petition appeal on Oct. 21.
No formal decision or vote occurred at the information meeting; the appeal will be considered at the Board of Zoning Adjustment hearing.
